Billing schedule
When you work with Change Literacy, our billing is simple and transparent. Much like an electric utility bill, we invoice at the end of each service period for the work we’ve completed.

This covers our initial work in monitoring your credit, setting up your cases, and starting credit repair services.
Billing occurs every 30 days
We work behind the scenes to continuously send out challenge letters and work with you towards your best credit. You can pause or cancel your service anytime.
Note: Maryland clients are billed differently.
Just a reminder, we bill on a monthly basis for the work completed during that period. If you choose to cancel your service, you will receive a final payment for the work done between your last payment and the cancellation date.

Bureau Challenges & Disputes
We will initiate a specific number of challenges and disputes on your behalf with all three credit bureaus during a challenge cycle, which typically lasts 30-45 days.
Credit Interventions
We send letters to your creditors requesting the removal of negative items from your credit report.
Credit Score Improvement Analysis
A tool on the client website that provides personalized coaching and useful tips for each of the five main credit score categories.
DebtHandler
A tool on the client website that offers a personalized debt assessment based on your chosen goal. Whether your goal is credit score improvement, rapid debt reduction, or saving money, the tool will help prioritize your debts accordingly.
ID Theft Insurance
An insurance policy designed to help clients in the event of identity theft.
Inquiry Assist
A tool on the client website that generates firm-prepared letters to assist you in disputing score-impacting inquiries.
Junk Mail Reducer
This service helps you opt out of pre-approved credit offers, adds your phone number to the do-not-call list, and places your email on a list to reduce the number of marketing emails you receive.
Lost Wallet Protection
You can store information from items in your wallet, purse, or mobile device. If these items are lost or stolen, we can help you cancel or replace the cards.
MoneySmart Alerts
These alerts notify you of any changes, including new negative items, hard inquiries, or increases in your credit utilization ratio. You’ll typically receive these alerts when we compare an older credit report to a newer one.
Report Watch Alerts
These alerts inform you of positive, negative, and neutral changes to your credit reports. You’ll generally receive these when we compare an older report to a newer one.
TransUnion® FICO Monitoring
Alerts generated in almost real-time to notify you of any changes that will likely reflect on your next TransUnion report.
TransUnion® FICO Score
Your credit score will be provided approximately every 30 days, depending on your service level.
Additional billing information
If a payment is not made within the agreed timeframe, a late fee may be applied. We encourage timely payments to avoid disruptions to your credit repair services. Please contact us if you need assistance or an extension on your payment.
What Will the Payment Look Like?
Payments are processed through a secure system and will be clearly outlined in your account portal. You’ll receive a detailed invoice with breakdowns of charges for each service provided. Recurring payments are set up based on your chosen plan and billing cycle.
If you cancel our services before completing your plan, you will only be charged for the services rendered up to that point. There are no cancellation fees, and any remaining balance will be refunded based on the terms of your agreement.
